Zkittlez

The one and only Zkittlez, accountable for the current “candy” craze we’re in, parent of Runtz, Rainbow Beltz, and almost every other strain that has a “Z” thrown into its name. Zkittlez is another strain with a highly debated origin story. (Are you starting to see a pattern here?) It can definitely be said that it was popularized by Northern California natives Tony Mendo and GreenrFieldz of TerpHogZ Genetics (and an honorable mention to 3rd Gen Fam and Dying Breed Seeds), and is rumored to be a grapefruit x Grape Ape cross, but also could be a renamed green Sherbet cut, or a unknown strain passed to GreenrFieldz by a character named Gas Station Bob. Whatever the case, one taste of this strain and you’ll understand the popularity of it.

You won’t find it around a lot because it’s a notoriously hard to grow, low yielding strain, that will make you work for the bag appeal. But when you get a good run of it, it is unmistakably top tier because of its unique and flavorful terpene profile. A one of a kind scent that is a plethora of different tropical fruits with sharp candy notes, reminiscing of a bag of tropical Skittles. The smell transfers very well to flavor and when she’s dialed in, the buzz can be very strong and racey.
