A cross of Ken Estes’ Grand Daddy Purple and F1 Durban, Cherry Pie hit the scene around 2005, right as the Bay Area (San Francisco/Oakland) was emerging as a big player in the cannabis scene. Predating the Bay’s most famous strain, Girl Scout Cookies, some say its story intermingles with the highly debated lineage of Girl Scout Cookies. Cherry Pie’s scent is tart cherry/ baked goods/ and hints of its grandparent strain Purple Urkle. And being an indica leaning hybrid, her effects and strong yet uplifting.
